Mission Statement
Luminary Dance Project/ Intensive Programs are designed to provide dancers with a comprehensive artistic education while honing ones’ technique. Our belief is that providing a safe environment where students can experiment and push the boundaries of their dancing leads to incredible growth and great self-discovery. We strive to instill lessons that can be
used life long whether pursuing a career in dance or not. The goal is to train dancers that are disciplined, dedicated, and dance with a generosity of spirit.
Pre - Professional
Program
The Pre-Professional Program was created for dancers striving to pursue a career in dance. Students will be challenged technically and encouraged to expand their artistry while honing their skills. Classes will stress alignment, technique and taking risks as an artist as well as collaboration. Our distinguished faculty will instill all aspects of the demands of the professional world.

2 Hour Contemporary Class finishing with improvisation

Choreographic Session - In this 3-hour workshop you will explore the creative process with one of our guest artists. Depending on the package booked, dancers will be part of a new work, created on them, or experience a piece of repertory from one of our esteemed faculty members. No matter what experience is right for your students they will be part of a professional creative process with all the demands of the professional dance world.

Choreographic Session - In this 3 hour session, dancers continue work on their chosen choreographic experience.
Emerging Artist
Program
Our Emerging Artist Program is committed to educating young dancers and providing them with a strong foundation. Classes are designed to emphasis technique and alignment as well as to help dancers find artistry and their own voice. Collaboration and working as a group will also be an important and vital part of class. Our goal is to help each student lay a strong foundation that they can continue to build upon.
